Nepenthes smilesii x platychila, CAR-0115 Nepenthes Hybrids The jury is still out

The jury is still out on the leaf insertion and undulating leaves (which don’t appear on pure undulatifolia until they are much larger)

The species inhabits Madagascar's eastern coast where it's found in sandy bogs often growing in flooded areas

Perfect for aroids and Nepenthes

They seem much more consistent with the species type description though there's probably still work to be done to fully elucidate their exact origin

A beautiful hybrid between 2 very distinct parent species
