this cuvée is meant to be unfussy

Larmandier-Bernier, Champagne Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut "Latitude" (2022 base), NV OREGCOUNT0711 The 2023 closes down hardPure Chardonnay from vines planted at the same latitude south of Vertushence the name. This Extra Brut (2 g l dosage) contains 40% perpetual reserve wine begun in 2004, adding depth and complexity. The nose opens with lemon confit, marzipan, tangerine peel, and mint; the palate builds toward crushed flowers, sage, and crushed rocks. Intensely saline with a potent minerality that defines this expression of chalk and precision. A focused, ambitious wine.
