2018 Domaine de Montbourgeau l'Etoile Chardonnay Region_Tuscany these guys consistently deliver someFrom: Jura, France Blend: Chardonnay is the dominant grape but an occasional Savagnin vine is found within the Chardonnay plantings, an addition which adds a touch of complexity to the ultimate blend. Taste: Reference point Jura white made from 95% Chardonnay and 5% Savagnin from 40 year old organic vines planted on clay and limestone in the village of L'Etoile, named for 5 star shaped hills but also for the fossilized starfish found in the vineyards.
