Germany, Heer. A Refurbished M40 Stahlhelm, by Sächsische Emaillier- und Stanzwerke Hold sewn on the ends(Heer Stahlhelm M40). An interesting Heer M40 Stahlhelm (steel helmet), constructed of a single sheet of magnetic molybdenum steel which retains trace amounts of its original apple green paint. Three rivets are distributed around the outer circumference of the shell for the accommodation of the liner pins, while the crown is flanked on each side by integral ventilation holes. Directly below the left vent is the visible remnant of reproduction SS
